Professional teachers provide offered year-round, tailor-made classes for individuals, families, and groups of all ages.

Classes meet in one of El Monasterio's break-out rooms. El Monasterio's high buttressed walls, several courtyards, gardens, towers, fountain and parapet provide ambiance, ample space and privacy ideal for learning.

Classes can include excursions to the Otavalo markets, artisan villages, colonial Quito, the Cloud Forest lodge El Refugio, El Angel Paramo, etc. Arrangements can also be made to live with an Ecuadorian family.

Tuition costs from $10 per hour. Group rates are available on request.

Students receive a 20% discount on rooms and meals for a minimum 4-night stay. Discounts cannot be combined.
