Just like our Otavalo hotel, the restaurant takes the idea of home – the historic function of the hacienda for centuries’ past – as its philosophical starting point. With hearty, healthy, simple but nonetheless special options, the waiter-served breakfasts, lunches and dinners combine the best of Ecuadorian cuisine and international classics. To a backdrop of the splendid dining room, cosy Salón Simón Bolivar or bar, sometimes with live music performed by one of our talented waiters, distinguished guests come together to feast, celebrate life and enjoy the fine wines of the worldliest kind of home.

All meals include meat, fish and vegetarian options, and any allergy/dietary requirement can be met; contact us in advance so that the chef can prepare.

Non-hotel guests are extremely welcome to have lunch or dinner with us. Please contact us and reserve in advance to avoid disappointment.
We celebrate events like Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day and Easter Week with special menus and entertainment – ask for more details!
Hacienda Cusin’s grounds include vegetable gardens and orchards, from where we source as much of the ingredients for our dining room as possible. Organic, fresh and with zero carbon footprint (it comes to the kitchen door by wheelbarrow!), we’re proud our cuisine is truly farm to table.
